We have a simple 5 step process that occurs when you apply for a role with us:

1. Apply for a job – hand in your resume onsite or online
2. BIKED will get in contact – so we can learn more about you
3. Face to face interview with our Human Resource Manager
4. Reference checks – The Human Resource Manager will contact your references
5. You got the job! – If you are successful you will contacted and offered a role. If you are unsuccessful you will be called and informed.

We are looking for fun, passionate, environmentally conscious driven people who love working with people and customers alike.

For team member roles there would be no previous experience necessary, as we will teach you how to make our amazing products and interact with customers – one pedal at a time.

For our site/event management roles, we do however require previous experience in a similar management role.

The minimum employment age is 15 years of age. Any worker below 15 years of age should be directly under the sole responsibility of parents or guardians provided that work does not interfere with the child’s schooling or development. Many of our team initially join us with the view that this is “just a job to make some extra cash”. However, the longer they stay the more they realise there are some great career opportunities on offer. As a Smooth Operator, you will cross-train within the site to continually learn new skills. These skills will not only benefit you at work, but will also give you skills for life.

From here, the prospects are endless. A number of our Store Managers, Operations team and Support Centre team started out as Smooth Operators onsite

BIKED have casual, part time and full time positions available. Site operating hours vary store to store or events, but we will work with you in relation to shifts.

We have a number of different store/events based positions, please see below for brief overview of these:

Site/Event Managers - Manage and lead the and associated team to provide optimum customer service, ensure store-wide adherence with BIKED operational procedures, achieve sales growth and profitability.

Assistant Manager - To assist the Store Manager to manage and lead a BIKED site and associated team, to lead by example and work closely with the Store Manager to assist in developing Team Leaders and Team Members to achieve optimum results in Customer experience, BIKED operational procedures, sales growth and profitability.

Team Leader - To assist the management team to manage and lead a BIKED kiosk and associated team. To act as the manager on duty when managers are not present. To assist in developing Team Members to achieve optimum results in customer experience, BIKED operational procedures, sales growth and profitability.

Smooth Operators - To deliver an amazing experience to our customers and to create an environment that makes customers and the team feel good and informed. To assist customers in making pedal powered healthy smoothies that tastes good in the cleanest, fun and most sanitary environment.

30 seconds to 1 minute. The faster you pedal the quicker the smoothie. Anyone can use the bike blenders- children aged four and above, teenager and adults can comfortably use our awesome bike blenders.

Yes, we provide bikes for younger children aged 5-10 years (depending on their height), as well as large blender bikes (perfect for kids 10 years and up). Availability can also vary depending on locations so best to get in early!

Yes! You can make specific request on your preferred smoothie mix. Our staff are also keen cyclists if you would like us to lend a hand (or leg) at any time too.

Bike’d’s foot powered smoothies are not hard to pedal. People of varying ages and abilities can do it.

We don’t sell our bikes. We can discuss however how we can setup the bikes for your event.
